Easter Learning To Drive. Hudson as co-pilot. Luca hanging his head out the back window and Felix chilling in the back seat.
Felix is such a great restaurant dog. I am so proud of him! He has come along way from the stress of being a stray. He has made some great people and dog friends. Felix says, “I am learning to trust each situation as it is. Life is full of treats.”
Luca and Felix. Together but separate. ~ These two are very attached. Luca very much so with Felix. It was nice to see them together but watching different parts of the yard. I have been doing a lot of training with them and I can tell that it is helping them feel more confident as individuals.
Easter says, “He is the biggest dog friend I have ever had. He is an explorer like me.”
Hudson says, “She’s all joy and I found her first. I love her.”
I asked Felix if he had any advice for people.
He answered, “Stop complaining, figure it out and enjoy yourself.”
I believe that is well said; especially from a dog who once had to scavenge for food.
This is Al and my #chihuahua X Felix. As many of you know, Felix was a street dog. There are very few people who can pet him. Al takes care of our horse Jubilee. Felix sees him everyday.
This is a monumental moment. Felix sat with Al comfortable for over a half hour.
Felix says, “His heart was trying so hard to be my friend and I care for him. At first it was scary to sit on his lap, but then he knows how to pet me nice and he was really gentle…I am glad we had that time together. I have a better friend now.”
Felix says, “I go in here when I feel like the world around me is moving too fast and I just need some alone time to process my thoughts.”
