HOW DOES A CONSULTATION WITH YOU WORK?
I have two different options: IN PERSON and PHONE CONSULTATION.
IN PERSON: I go to people’s homes or barns that live in Ojai & Santa Barbara, California or clients may travel to meet me at my Ojai office.
PHONE CONSULTATION: I have clientele that I speak to all over the world. All you have to do is fill out an ORDER SERVICES FORM(detailed description of your deceased human, upload a photo, state a few questions…) and PAY on-line or snail mail me the form and payment. I must receive your payment in order to schedule the reading. Once I receive the order form and payment, you will be directed to my online appointment program to book a time.

HOW LONG ARE CONSULTATIONS?
IN-PERSON CONSULTATIONS are booked by one-hour increments.
PHONE CONSULTATIONS can be booked by the hour or half hour increments. Sessions begin and end promptly on time. It is important for you to be conscious of the time during our session.
DO YOU OFFER SKYPE SESSIONS?
Yes, I do offer Skype sessions. If you are out of the country this is a wonderful way for us to communicate! If you live out of the country and prefer to call me on my telephone land line that is fine as well.
For your information during Skype sessions, I have my camera off.
The reason being is I type while I am talking to your animal and it distracts me to have the camera up close to my face while I am typing and communicating. I will send you this written transcript after our session.
You are welcome to have your camera on so I can see you or your pet if it is an animal communication session. Though seeing your pet moving does not make me any more accurate in my communications.
If you live in the USA Phone or Skype is up to you. The default is that I will call the telephone number your wrote on your form at our session time. If you would like to skype instead please write “your last name & skype session” in the subject line of an email so that it gets quickly filed in your folder.
CAN I SHARE A SESSION WITH A FRIEND?
If you have a group of people that would like to talk to a deceased human you may share an In-Person hour session or put me on speaker phone during a phone consultation.
CAN I PURCHASE A GIFT CERTIFICATE?
Yes, my services are wonderful gift to give to a friend. I can either send you the certificate or I can mail it to the receiver of the gift. Follow the instructions on the order services gift certificate page: Click Here.
DO YOU DO GROUP CONSULTATIONS AND PARTIES?
Yes, I do. Please fill out this form for more information: Three hour minimum. Can be split into half-hour sessions for each owner. Please fill out form for a price quote and more information.
CAN YOU JUST ASK AN INDIVIDUAL (pet, spirit, child) JUST ONE QUESTION FOR ME? I AM SURE IT WILL ONLY TAKE YOU A MOMENT. I am sorry. If if I we have had a session or I know your pet, deceased human or child well I cant just contact them for you with out a session. It is a common misconception (because I am told I make it look so easy) that communicating with an individual takes only a moment. I must say I feel rude saying things like, “Are you there, tell me quick and then shut up.” I am partially joking but it is sort of like that. I do not feel it is fair to the individual to not hear all they have to say or allow them to take time to process the question and ask questions themselves if need be.
Also everything they think and feel runs through me (my mind, my heart and my body). If they feel intense fear, pain, or sorrow. I feel that just as if they are feeling it. My work can be extremely exhausting. I work very hard to have a balance.
So I have learned to do only set sessions and do them only during my work day and hours. With a few exceptions, even my friends go through the ordering process and although my family and some rescue groups do not pay we still set up a time to talk. back to top
DO YOU GUARANTEE A CONNECTION WITH THE INDIVIDUAL I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO?
Many psychics do not guarantee a connection with the person their client would like to contact. They open up the channel and talk to which ever spirit comes through during the session. I personally have never had a problem connecting to the individual spirit I am reaching out to. If for some reason I can not contact that particular spirit, I will talk to my client about how they would like to proceed. I will be honest about this and will try to work something out so my client is satisfied.
WILL YOU REFUND MY MONEY IF I DON’T FEEL LIKE YOU ARE CONNECTING WITH THE INDIVIDUAL I HAVE HIRED YOU TO TALK TO, BUT YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE CONNECTED WITH THEM?
No, I do not offer refunds for this situation. I feel very confident in my ability to decipher whether or not I have the right individual. Sometimes information may not make sense right at the time of the session but as time goes by after the session things may make more sense to you.
If I am receiving images from the spirit it may take time for you to decipher them. Also connecting to a loved one can be so overwhelming that even the obvious connection feels confusing at the moment. I once had a client’s deceased father tell me that he had a message for a “small stout woman with brown hair and glasses that likes to cook and go to the mountains”. My client swore she had no idea who that could be. Two days later she sent me an email saying, “oh my goodness Laura. That woman my father mentioned is my sister! I have no idea how I couldn’t have figured that out at the time.” Other times in ones desperation, grief or anger connected to the death of a loved one communication on some level may be blocked within the client. I am confident that in time the communication will make more sense.
You ask for photos of my pet, deceased human, or child why is this?
Is it necessary that you have a photo?
Does it matter if the photos are recent?
What will you do with my photos?
I personally have an easier time connecting with an individual by seeing their photo. I like a photo where I can see the individual’s eyes.
Having a photo is not necessary. If you do not have a photo available you can give me a good description of the individual.
It does not matter if the photo is recent or not but please tell me if that is the case.
I will save your photos in your file. I will not use the photos you provide for our session for any reason unless you give me written permission to do so or fill out a form on my website requesting that I post a quote from your individual on my blog.
CAN I CALL YOU TO ASK A QUESTION?
If it is your session time Laura will call you.
All sessions must be booked through the website unless you are a very old client of Laura’s or do not know how to use the internet.
If it is not your session time, Laura prefers to correspond through email. The reason is that during her work day, she spends about six hours on the phone doing consultations. By the end of the day and on her day off, Laura prefers to stay off the phone. I ordered a session on line and have not received your online appointment scheduler what should I do?
After you pay, paypal should direct you to the calendar page of my website. In some internet browsers this step does not work correctly. I will notice that you have not scheduled and with in 24 hours I will send you the booking program.

Every Wednesday from 4-6 pm I have walkin hours at Aloha Dog Grooming 1076 East Front Street Ventura, CA (Click here for map). The cost is $45 for 20 minutes. I do not take appointments.

Laura will never discuss the details of your session with others without your permission first. The names of Laura’s clientele is also confidential.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS AND TERMS OF SERVICE?
Hours of Service are Tuesday – Saturday 9-4 pst.
Laura can book up one – three weeks in advance. Though it is possible but not guaranteed that you can get in sooner. Tuesdays all day & Thursday mornings are reserved for emergency sessions. Other emergency sessions go on a wait list to get in sooner. There are times when Laura will work after hours or rearrange her schedule to fit in an emergency. These are subject to a $50 charge on top of the regular rate.
All sales are non-refundable. You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your session time and have one year to redeem your session from date of payment.
Cancellation and missed appointments for any reason within 24 hours of appointment time forfeits the session time / money paid.

Why are your fees more expensive for people services than for pets?
Basically because they are harder on my body and my energy level. Every emotion, thought, feeling and image that goes through the individual I am talking to gets filtered through my own body and mind. I personally find myself more drained after dealing with people. I still love offering these services and get a great deal of satisfaction out of them, but they are harder on me. I could fill my schedule with just animals, but I feel a higher power wants me to help people as well.
