Days before Gus was diagnosed with fluid in his heart he said, “I am scared. I don’t feel well. I have a burning in my stomach and my throat.”
Gus had to spend the night at the doctors so he could have the fluid drained. A few days later he was playing though suggested, “I feel much better, but I feel my mom (person) should not let me play or run too much. I want to, but then I have a pain in my chest. We should listen to the doctor and take it easy for a while.”
