This is Kevin. He is a 1.5 year old rescue. I was about to talk with him about not chasing his kitties when he said, “Do you have an open space? When I look at you, I see a big open space and a mountain. I would like to go up that mountain.”

Kevin was intuitively seeing the park next to my house and the mountains down the road. His people do exercise him, but this is a reminder that all dogs need to have exercise. A well exercised dog will have way less behavioral problems than a dog that sits in the home.

Tip: Get outdoors and go on an adventure with your animal. Find a place where only nature will stimulate them. Get away from people, other dogs, and neighborhood noise.

Find a place of solitude so peace, introspection, and feeling calm and alive comes naturally.
