When I got home from work I asked Serafina how her day was.  She said, “I saw a new bird that came to the feeder.  It was gray and black.” I asked her if it was a morning dove.  She answered, “No, much smaller, but he had a big chest.” Then she asked, “What do kids wear on their heads when they ride bicycles?” I told her they wear helmets.  She said, “Why?” I told her so they dont hurt their heads when they fall.  She then said, “Maybe Maia should wear a helmet.” She is talking about my wolf dog that sometimes fall when she walks.  That made me a bit sad, but I laughed because Serafina is so clever!
