Hi Laura, it’s so nice to see you in this interview. Your talk reminds me of my little Coton de Tulear, Paj. When we were leaving Ojai, I started calling her Ruby, which really bugged my husband. At first I couldn’t figure out why I was calling her Ruby until a few months later when I remembered my little calico cat, Ruby. You’re one of the few people who knew both of them when we were neighbors. I have no idea why I didn’t put that together right away. They had totally different personalities. Paj is such a confident, silly and entitled little brat. She just knows she’s the cutest and she is adored. Ruby was abandoned and traumatized and so shy.
