Amika Needs A Home

Amika Needs A Home! She's at German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County California www.GSROC.org Five year old Amika was the beloved companion and best friend of a decorated Purple Heart Marine. He died without warning leaving her heartbroken and alone. She stayed by his side for 3 days until he was found. She was then taken to a nearby shelter to await her fate. The staff at the shelter were crushed to see this beloved companion of a hero sit there day after day. Amika was out of time... Luckily, the shelter reached out to GSROC in a last attempt to save this special girl. A volunteer rushed to save her. Amika is a larger sized girl and about 5 years old. She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She rides well in the car and likes to go for walks. She is very affectionate and loving. GSROC promised Amika they would find her a family to love her and care for her. We owe it to not only Amika, but the hero who loved her and gave so much for our country. Please share. If you have any questions or would like to meet Amika please call Shawn at 714/206-9002 or email ShawnGSDRescue@aol.com
