Baby Pelican & Pet Psychic Radio Today! I found this Baby Pelican in the middle of the road in Carpinteria. A nice man helped me catch her. The Pelican told me that she was hit by a car and her right leg and wing were were sore & injured. She also told me it was scary to try and fish because when you dive into the water you don’t know if there is going to be something big in the water! The woman in the picture is Connie. She started Wildlife Care Network in Santa Barbara. She said at this time of year they get a lot of baby pelicans in because they are exhausted from making the flight from the islands to the main lands. It is also the first time surviving without their moms. Lets all send good healing thoughts to this Pelican. Who also told me someone put a white cloth over their body and tool them in a moving vehicle! That would of been me!
