This is Lola. She died at ten years old. After Lola’s death her person felt guilty wondering if she could have done more for Lola. Sometimes we humans do fail and other times the outcome is meant to be. Here Lola responds, “I want my mom to know that there was nothing she could have done to save me. If I had wanted to go to the hospital, I would have told my mom and she would have listened… I had a feeling I wasn’t going to get better.”
