This is Twig. He is three years old. He lives at Goathouse Refuge in Pittsboro, NC. This is a cat rescue founded by Siglinda Scarpa. Everyday, numerous times during the day Twig goes out into the yard, find sticks and then brings them back to his pride. Sometimes he does this happily and other times mournfully. The Pride will rub their faces up against his. Twig has even taught some other cats to do this behavior. Why is he doing this? Animal Communicator Laura Stinchfield asks him on Pet Psychic Radio. Listen to the podcast here: www.thepetpsychic.com/2013/10/03/pet-psychic-radio-10-03-13 You can learn more about Siglinda Scarpa, Twig and Goathouse Refuge on their website: www.goathouserefuge.org and on their facebook page www.facebook.com/TheGoathouseRefuge

This is my cat Makia. When I was young I used to watch the Hello Kitty cartoons. I loved her! It’s amazing what we manifest without even knowing it! • Laura Stinchfield @ www.thepetpsychic.com
KONA is looking for a new home. He is presently in Santa Barbara, Ca. If you are interested email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will get you in touch with his person. His person writes, ” Kona is a purebred (he has his papers), bronze, neutered, indoor only (declawed in front) Egyptian Mau born 12/04/04. I have had him his entire life. Four years ago I got a rescue dachsund. She treats him like prey and chases him around the house and bites his neck and shakes him. He is afraid of her and lived up on the shelf on which the TV is placed. He’s afraid to be down on the floor with her. Two months ago my other boy Mau cat died of a sudden intestinal lymphoma. Kona is so lonwsome and without him. He can’t come to me for comfort since the dog will chase him and attack him. Last week was the final straw when the dog went up and pulled him to the floor off of his safe shelf, and shook him by his neck. I have had him locked in the guest room away from her since. This is no way for this beautiful, peaceful kitty to live. He is scared to use the litter box or get a drink of water if the dog is around. He was pooping on his safe shelf sometimes. It’s a lot worse since Kai died since Kona is all by himself now. As much as I love this cat, this is not a good live for him. He’s too stressed. He would do well in a home without a ot of scary, rapid movement. He will cuddle wity you all night long and purr. He’s free to a good home and just had his annual vet check up and vaccinations (rabies and FLV). He comes with food, a bed, a carrier, a litter box and scoop, litter.”
Here I am with founder & director of Elephant Nature Park Lek Chailert!
She is truly an amazing person! She is saving hundreds of elephants from logging, begging on the streets & from trekking… She gets them Medical care, gives them a preserve to be themselves in and places them back in the wild…
She also has an animal rescue. After a flood in Bangkok she went in and rescued hundreds of stray cats & dogs. Here at Elephant Nature Park there are many rescue dogs sleeping and wandering around with the elephants. I am in awe of what Lek is doing for animals!
This is Serafina. I found her about 6 years ago. I was driving by a ranch I used to live at and was looking for a bobcat that used to hunt the fields in the morning. I was shocked to spot Serafina instead! She was trying to hunt a ground squirrel. She let me pick her up and put her in my car with my wolfdog and aussie dog. She was malnourished and covered in worms & fleas. She was so brave instantly rubbing herself in-between their legs. She is one of the most compassionate animals I have ever come across. When my older late cat was sick and dying Serafina rarely left his side and if anything was wrong she would run to me. If anything bad happens to any of the other animals she is right by their side no matter how scary the ordeal. It is truly amazing to witness. We call her the nurse. I’m so happy I was looking for that bobcat! – Laura Stinchfield • thepetpsychic.com.
My lovely cat Makia. She is 17 years old. I adopted her at Santa Barbara Animal Regulation when she was less than a year old. A woman and her daughter was looking at her deciding if they were going to adopt her. I stood off to the side wishing she was mine. They decided not to adopt her because Makia (then Pooka) was not vocal when the mother & child left, I picked up Makia and she went “meow, meow”. She’s been with me ever since. * Laura Stinchfield – thepetpsychic.com.
