This is Ziva. She is eight years old.

She says, “I want to tell my mom (person) that I didn’t have a lot of training before I came to her. No one did much with me. I know that they said that they did, but they didn’t. I am new to everything.

I enjoy the time I spend with my mom. She is very thorough in the way that she communicates with me. I have a desire to please her. That is a nice new feeling for me.

I am starting to understand more of what she wants of me. I am starting to trust that the way she does things is ok. I never knew that is the best way to listen to people.”
