Late night, I went to my friends house to check on her new chicks.  Days prior they were not making it into their coop at night & I had to tell them that they would be warmer if they went inside.  Since our talk they have slept inside.  This night when I asked them how they were doing one answered,

“It is good to see you.  We are fine.  We miss our mom (my friend)”
