When asked if she would like a doggie friend to live with her.  Alice answered,

“I would love another dog but only if we both could come into the house cause I want to be a house dog. I would like a little dog.”

Alice was told she could live in the main part of the house if she consistently pooped and peed outside only and when her people felt safe that they could trust Alice to be gentle with the toddler in the house.
