This is Gertie. She passed at twelve years old.  

She says from Heaven, “I want them to know that when I died, I could feel my legs trembling. They just kept trembling, but then, when I reached Heaven, I just started to run. I was running all over the place. I just ran and ran and ran.”

Often, when our animals reach Heaven, they are presented with a situation that shows them they are no longer in their sick body. A nauseous dog who can’t eat, maybe given delicious food. In life, Gertie must have been bothered by her aging body and physical limitations. That is why she was presented with the opportunity to run. Heaven is an absolute wonder.
