This is JamUp. He is six years old. He is recovering from an injury, so he can’t go out to pasture with his friends. He has some ideas to help pass the time.
JamUp says, “What would really help me is a wooded walk. I would love that. I also would love apple dunking. I need something to keep me busy. How about that game with the rings. My issue is not fun. It just stinks. I am cranky sometimes that I can’t hang out with my friends. I don’t understand that…The other thing that helps me is neck stretching. What about having a big water trough and putting some ducks in it and maybe teaching me some tricks?”
JamUp reminds us that when we are caring for an injured animal, it is important to stimulate them mentally.
