What Is Your Passion or Your Story	Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary – a rescue /sanctuary I founded in 2009. I’m a long time dog lover and began doing rescue work in 1997 with Golden Retriever Rescue. In the fall of 2007, I took in a wonderful old Golden Retriever, Lily, who had a host of medical issues and was only with us for 4 months before she crossed Rainbow Bridge. She was the inspiration for this sanctuary.

History or Story	Goldy was an owner surrender due to lack of time. He had spent a great deal of time alone in the months prior to his surrender. He has cataracts and is virtually blind. He gets around very well considering but is harder to adopt out than a seeing senior dog. He has been with us since 11/11. We have applied for a grant in order for him to have cataract surgery so he can see again!!! He is a sweet, sweet boy and so easy to care for.
