Rescue Guest on Today’s Show:

Pat Brayer
Passion or Story:
As a volunteer at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society, I couldn’t stand by and watch the shelter close due to gross mismanagement and neglect. Instead, I set about exposing the fraud and became President of a new Board of Directors and the shelter was saved!

We’re currently having ‘March Microchip Madness’ through March 31st. All microchips are $15 and include free lifetime registration.

Our little shelter will be 88 years old this year!

We offer affordable spay/neuter and vaccine services for everyone.

Paula Needs A Home

3 years old

Paula Needs A Home

Paula and her mom were ‘dumped’ in the shelter parking lot one night, and it took quite a while to catch them both. Paula’s mom Palla has already been adopted, and Paula is still waiting for her forever home. She has been with us since she was 6 months old.

Questions You Would Like To Ask The Animal:
What kind of home would you like? What type of person would you be most comfortable living with? Do you want to live with other cats or even dogs? Is there anything you’re afraid of? What would make you the happiest girl ever? Who’s your best friend at SGHVS?
Anything else?

SGVHS is a small private shelter, and even though we’re not financially rich, we’re very rich in love for each and every homeless furry one we care for. We look every bit of our 88 years and our dream is to rebuild and restore our shelter – we sure hope our Guardian Angel is out there somewhere.
