The Ojai Farmers Market has decided to take orders for Domestic Rabbit meat. It also sells lamb pork and goat. Some people are about to boycott the Farmers Market for selling Rabbit Meat. Should I too?
Bean my bunny says, “Mom, I dont want my vegetables and carrot tops to be bought at the same place at where they are selling rabbit meat. Can we get my veggies elsewhere? Mom, that is mean. I dont want you to go there anymore.”

I didn’t know that about the FM! Bean’s got a point, but at the same time, most grocery stores also sell those types of meat, except maybe rabbit. Maybe joining the boycott would be good if it works and then return to the farmers’ market? But maybe Bean could consider which market’s greens he prefers, get his greens from there, and accept the rest as an unfortunate fact of life? 🙂
