Gita would bark and lunge at other dogs. She would look very vicious. One day, she graduated to being off leash at the beach. Although she was a bit scared, she played with numerous dogs. After our session, I asked her why she was dog aggressive before. This was her reply, “I didn’t know that other dogs would want to play with me. I thought they were going to be mean, so I would try to scare them away.”
