Max says, “Tell mom I am sorry. I wish she would touch me softly. Biting it is the only way to get my point across to tell her to watch my pain level on my body. I guess I can try to hiss. If I bite again, I will try not to bite so hard. I didn’t like how it hurt my mom so bad. When she would look in the mirror she was so sad and I was so sad too. I don’t ever want my mom to look in the mirror and be upset with me again. It is a terrible feeling. I like it when she sees me in the mirror and tells me how handsome I am.”
