Gus’s person brought him in to see how he got scratches on his hind leg.  She was worried one of his coyote friends swiped him.  He says, “I was digging at a whole because there was a rodent inside and then it peeked his head out and I saw his small eyes and whiskers.  He took off really fast across the field.  I followed him and jumped over some boards.  I think there must have been a wire or nail on the board.  That is how my leg got hurt.  I am still friends with the coyotes.  They did not hurt me.”
