Jasmine and Chirpy are good friends. I asked Jasmine if she would like another small dog in the house. She replies, “I would like a best friend who is not a chicken.”
Melissa, their person, rescues and nurtures many chickens. Even though Chirpy had an infection, when I asked him how he was feeling he answered, “I feel fine. I don’t want my mom to worry about me.”
