Keeper’s person is leaving him with a friend while she travels for a year.

Keeper says, “This is the truth.  I went through such despair when mom went through this decision.  I thought, ‘how could you abandon me?’  Then I watched her think this through and I thought, ‘she is not abandoning me she is taking a lot of time on this.”
