Dear Jerry,
I am absolutely sure that animals see color. They are always telling me things like: “I like to play with my blue ball” or “I want the red plaid bed back”. They even talk about what colors look good on their people. My cat, Makia, is here with me now. I will ask her what she thinks. Makia says, “I think that animals see more colors than people. We see more shades of colors and more shadows. Maybe people say that we don’t see colors because it takes a lot more for us react. Meaning our senses are greater and we have a bigger perspective of situations and things than people do. I love lawn green but my favorite color is the silver gray that the Buddha statue is.”
