This is Cosi and Zucca.  Zucca is 16 years old, and Cosi is 5. Zucca says, “Cosi, he takes care of me.  He watches over me.” We asked Zucca if he still likes going to the dog park with his dad (person). He replied,

“I need to go. The smells are good.  The more activity I have, the better my brain is. Dad feels special that I go with him. Everyone who is there knows us.  If I stop going, everyone will worry about me, and that is not good for anyone.”

Zucca reminds us how important it is to continue to stimulate the older animals’ brains.  This way, we get to keep them happy and healthy longer!
